Yes, you can just use the included product key to authorize Windows 10 Pro on a computer that already has Windows 10 installed by another method.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The product comes with a full license for Pro. If the installation disc can upgrade from Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro, then the product key will work for that. If you have a full license, as opposed to an upgrade license, then it does not matter if you are installing to a blank disk drive, or upgrading an existing installation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would think so, I had planned to upgrade my Windows 7 but when I called microsoft they said I did not need the software I just purchased they installed the iso file and upgraded me for free even though the upgrade period had ended a long time ago. I would give them a call I think this is the # 800-642-7676. Good luck, I included a pic of the package
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I followed the instructions to upgrade from Win 10 Home to Win 10 Pro. I could not get it to work, so I had to take the system in to the in-store Geek Squad (GS). They had to call Microsoft special tech support for GS. After considerable research, they were able to perform the upgrade. Fortunately I had bought the 1 year GS tech support plan.
