• It is advertised 'for one computer' which insinuate's it is OEM. If it lets you load on another device, it's probably retail. I haven't tried to load it on another device. I did not do a back up before loading because my computer was brand new. I simply wanted to do away with Windows 365 cloud version. Hope this helps.
