• If you have a problem with the install of the Full Retail Version you can call Microsoft for help. If you have any problems with the OEM version you are on your own. It is assumed it was installed by someone who will provide support.

• Packaging, OEM is for computer builders and basically contains the disk and OS key (never lose!!!). The retail version is a bigger box with more marketing material for home users.
