Its a OEM version. However it is a full version of the software. OEM means you cannot seek help from Microsoft. The OEM version requires the installer to provide support to the end user.

I downloaded windows 10 and put it on a usb drive and activated it with the key purchase through Best Buy. It lets you install the full version of windows 10 pro. I believe it’s technically OEM

Please try again later.It is my understanding that an OEM version can only be used on a new computer that does not already have Windows installed, i.e. a new build computer with a clean drive. It can not be used to update an existing version of Windows 10 on an operating computer.
