It isn't quite clear what your situation is, but it sounds like the laptop you mentioned is what you will have at home and you want to access computer(s) that are at work from it. If your Windows 10 home laptop is what you have at home, and your want to access computers that are at work from it, then you don't need to change the OS on that laptop. Windows 10 Home can run the Remote Desktop Client (I believe it still comes with the OS). The computer(s) at work that you are trying to access/control are the ones that need Windows 10 Pro running on them so that you can access them remotely.
