“I purchased an HP Elitebook that had been serviced and upgraded from win7 to win10home, from a local pc repair shop that has since gone out of business. The activation code has expired. Will this upgrade reactivate my win10?”

Thanks Glen. I bought it literally as the upgrade was finishing. It worked great for a year, and now there a constant overlay that says “Activate Windows”. I go to settings/activation, it says it can’t connect to my organizations activation server, and to contact network support. But that’s me, and it’s a home wireless, not a business network. Error code: 0xC004F074

I've never heard of the activation codes expiring. Buying this version of Windows 10 will give you a new activation code.
