• If you have the 64bit version installed, you can enable Hyper-V and create virtual machines. If you have 32bit, you won't be able to create a virtual machine.

• Hello there, The Client Hyper-V is included with Windows 8.1. With Windows 8.1 you don’t have to install extra software or add-ons to run Virtual Machines (VMs), all you need is a PC with hardware virtualization capabilities. • Windows 8 Pro and Windows 8 Enterprise include Client Hyper-V; the same is true for Windows 8.1
