• A:Answer Make sure you don’t have your mic muted. No you don’t need an adapter because it has the headphone jack port in the bottom of the controller.

• A:Answer If you pair the controller to your Xbox 360 it will work make sure you go to settings and devices and hopefully you have the cord to pair and download the firmware from your 360 to the new controller and it will work just fine after the firmware update and pairing good luck happy hunting

• A:Answer Thanks for your reply. It took some digging but I did find that the Xbox controller is not compatible with charging through the micro USB connection with standard rechargeable batteries. You have to use a rechargeable battery pack designed for this purpose. The reason is to prevent users from overcharging or providing a charge to batteries placed in the controller. If you have the proper rechargeable battery pack installed you can charge through the UBS port or depending on the system purchased use a charging stand.
