I can't tell you with 100% assurance because I don't play "FortNite", I play games on Steam, but this remote works fine with Steam. The only difference between this controller and a normal X-Box controller is that it uncludes a USB plug that allows wireless play on a PC. I believe you could plug a normal X-Box controller directly to your PC with the normal USB plug and play games that way, I bought this for the wireless functionality. I hope this helps!
