Unfortunately the Wireless Display Adapter needs a device with a screen in order to cast the display up onto a second screen. Since the Xbox alone does not have this, it will not be able to display in the other room. To clarify, there are two HDMI ports on the Xbox, however one is for input and one is for output, so the second HDMI port you are referring to is specifically for input, so the Wireless Display Adapter would not be able to cast the display from this port in particular.
