“I am trying to use this as a daily driver for my laptop I currently have a 32 inch monitor through a minidisplay port setup am I able to add another 32 inch and use this consistently for a 2nd monitor flipped sideways without dropping signal? Thanks”

You can use it as an extended display, however the adapter does sometime drop signals from my experience. For consistency, I recommend going with a wired solution.
