Gold members at this time should extend their gold membership as far as they can, then do the 1$ upgrade from microsoft. it will convert up to 3 years of gold to a free ($1 one time) ultimate account. If this code gets applied to an account that does not have reoccurring payments, they offer 1 free month to turn on reoccurring payments with the activation of the card.
