You can use any Bluetooth controller with your meta headset, it doesn't have to be an xbox one

I have one myself and I connected my Xbox One controller to it and played. It’s old asf not the Series controller, the Xbox One. So givin that I think as long as you hold the connect button next to your charging port and click search Bluetooth at the same time. It’ll connect and work. Just not on every thing u need to have Xbox opened. Hope that helped
