They are the exact same hardware and software wise, the Scorpio edition just has special graphics on the exterior of the console and controller, that's it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The only difference that I know of is that there is green lettering saying Project Scorpio on the console and included controller. Outside of that it is a limited amount that are being produced with this additional lettering.

In short nothing but cosmetic changes thats it.... you had to preorder it in full before launch almost all were accounted for any left are probably being sold on 3rd parties sites for higher cost...i picked up mine the midnight release the next day i was in best buy on a different matter and a lady had bought 2 and returned one i had a opportunity to get one but going through the hassle of going home boxing it up to bring back to return just for the same xbox with decals didnt make any sense ao dont worry your not missing anything by not having it
