I checked out your Tv's specs and it appears that it does support hdr content which is exactly what you'll need in order to get the most out of the Xbox one X. Input lag on the ku6500 is relatively low aslong as you change your settings to game mode when playing. Granted, it isn't a top tier 4k tv by any means.( mid range) Regardless, I'd say your overall experience should be pretty good.("middle of the road") If you want to get the xbox one x, I say go for it. The only way I can justify not getting the it, is not having a 4k tv at all!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The TV itself isn't a bad TV, but you'll definitely want to upgrade to a True HDR TV. The 6000 series in general advertises HDR Premium which is a bare minimum to be labeled as HDR. It isn't anything special and only alters colors slightly and tries to imitate HDR content. If you want to take advantage of your Xbox One X, you'll find a HDR10 compatible display which will benefit you more. If you want to stick with Samsung, the 7000 series and up promote a HDR10 panel. The Xbox One X's is only compatible with HDR10 and will not work with a Dolby Vision TV. So try to find something that either has HDR10 or both. I intend to do the same in the near future as I'm rocking out last years 40ku6290 which was a holiday model. Didn't realize until later that it doesn't have a True HDR built in.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will make a slight improvement on your TV regardless of if it is full 4k or not as the system will play 4k bit the game needs to be made for 4k and as almost no games will be actual 4k. Don't be fooled by them saying games will be enhanced as that just means most will actually just be improved to actual 1080 and maybe a frame rate improvement but not 4k. Good system yes. Good picture yes. Better gameplay, well only if you play for the graphics and not the over all fun. After all gaming is about fun not picture quality. I mean millions of people still play Pac-Man.
