According to Best Buy policy, when you place your pre-order they’ll authorize your form of payment with your bank, which results in a temporary authorization hold. After a few business days, the hold should be automatically released and the funds returned to your account. Shortly before release day as your order begins final processing for shipment or store pickup, they’ll reauthorize your form of payment, resulting in another hold. Once your order ships or becomes ready for store pickup they’ll then collect payment. Please note that pre-orders placed using PayPal are processed differently, and are charged immediately upon placing your pre-order.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This isn't true. They keep charging me, then putting it back over and over again. Then claiming the hold is expired. I am confused because i did this before and i didn't have problems with this. The item doesn't come out till October. So why?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.there website also says Q: When will I be charged? A: You will not be charged at the time you place the pre-order. Only when your item ships will your credit card be charged. If you order additional items along with your pre-order, you will be charged for each item as it ships.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That is not true cuz I pre ordered somthing today and it took out my bank account today
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I pre-ordered a phone and got the bill. I have not even received the item yet. I've been waiting for the item for almost a month.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.when i pre order something on best buy when does the 15 day return period start?, dose it start when i pre order something or dose it start when i get the item
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have been charged on my most recent pre-order perhaps because I used PayPal? My actual bank account shows it was pending $34 but then after a week the pending was removed and nows shows that I was actually changed the amount and money was never returned to my bank account. Order was placed 9 days ago as of today as well so forgot that 7 day wait. That said last two times I pre-ordered they did the pre-authorization hold and it was back on my card in a few day. I don't understand this but I have been charged for something that doesn't come out until the end of September and I better not get charged twice.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used a Best Buy credit card with Citibank to make a pre-order several months ago. A received an email notification of a very small charge that I suspect might be related to a payment authorization for fulfilling the pre-order. But I have no way of knowing. Neither Citibank nor BestBuy could explain a charge of $1.20. I have found it very frustrating to deal with Best Buy overseas customer service. I mean no personal offense by this, but the language barrier is thick, and if Best Buy wants to do business in North America, I suggest some customer service with a North American dialect. I have no answers to my questions, so I will just close my credit card account and do business with other companies because this is not the first time I've had questions about small charges and no one could help me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think they do but I pre-ordered 2 phones and it told me it would come in 2 weeks but after a week a checked and the phone was in stock and if I was to buy it, it would come in 3 days and I just dont understand how that's fair because i literally pre ordered mine so its suppose to come early right? No, they just told me to wait. Personally I think it's really unfair.
