You can buy batteries that have a USB input for charging. They can be swapped out and charged separately if needed. Granted they are third party manufacturer made, but it does the job.

You can get a rechargeable batteries for extra 20 dollars. If you don't mind spending little extra cash.

It probably will not happen until the next generation Xbox, if ever. Personally I prefer to use rechargable batteries that I can swap out when they run out of power. On the PS4 you are forced to use the USB cable to charge, which I don't like to do while I'm gaming.
