, depends on what you consider a large load. Yes, you can put in a full set of king sheets, but that's about it. I don't put in more than 5 pairs of my husbands work jeans. You can't look in the tub to see how it is washing and more than that, they don't seem clean.

You can stuff more than that in, but effective washing requires room for the fabric/water to circulate. (5 pairs of jeans is too much unless you're talking child size.) I have put a king comforter in - but it was stuffed and really was too large for any effective cleaning. But, it wasn't very soiled to begin with. The Midea 2.1 cu ft is a better size for larger things - this is the one I'm currently using - BUT, when I got this machine and a king comforter would actually fit reasonably well, the water level sensor cut the large load off at maybe 2/3 of the tub height! It was ridiculous! So, I figured out how to adjust the water pressure switch (located in the back top compartment requires phillips driver to remove, and a metric allen wrench to adjust the actual pressure switch).
