do you have to keep it on all the time null

I LEAVE IT ON STAND BY ALL THE TIME IT WORKES VEAR WILL

It must stay plugged in to power so that it will sound the alert in case of severe weather warnings. It does not have to be physically turned on to where you would hear it. You can control that just like any other radio.

I keep it on all the time but other ones similar to this I just leave on in the summer during storm seasons.
