I ordered my Miele years ago from an allergy specialty catalog. I’m allergic to dust, mold, dander and sensitive to a wide variety of chemicals. Most vacuums emit a “motor fume” while they are running, that really bothers me — the Miele does not (it has an exhaust filter), and fine particulates are caught by the HEPA filter. It’s considered to be a “medical grade” appliance, so it’s about as hypoallergenic as one can get. We LOVE ours, but a workman recently trashed it (we were devastated bc it’s SO important to us!) and now we are shopping for an identical replacement. I think you’d be as happy with this as we have been. Worth every penny!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are many different choices of Miele vacuums. Some have the HEPA filter and others do not. If this is important to you, make sure you get a model that has it.
