Like the other poster, I'm an RN too. This is an Apple Watch brand band. Bought at the apple store. By 6 months in with daily wear and constant hand washing/hand sanitizer, the stainless is showing through. These pics are 2 years in and that initial wear pattern hasn't changed. You can see the stainless mostly on the inner wrist side. The inch or so color that shows next to the watch remains intact. Thought about having it resurfaced and then...why? It looks fine from a casual glance, it's just me that knows the color has worn thru:) Functionally, the band is as magnetic and intact as the day I got it!! True quality!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Actually yes, it does. I’ve owned now two of these bands, genuine Apple product. There are spots where the color has worn off with daily wear. Happened over the course of months, but yes, it certainly fades. In certain light you can see the silver color shining through the gold. Little upset I spent the money I did expecting better quality. Would have been better off with a knockoff if the genuine product does the same thing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In less than a month of wear (I’m a 69 year old woman) both upper face corners show silver through the black! Disappointing, especially for an Apple product.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have only had my Apple Milanese Loop 40mm (Gold) for 21 days. So far no coating or colour wearing off issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it doesn’t. I just have scratches cause I’m a clutz. But it’s still just as shiny as when I bought it months ago
