• since it mentions that you need java in the description and also this is advertised as minecraft that can work either on Mac or PC, this is actually the Java version. The Windows 10 version of minecraft is not compatible with MacOS.

• Well I can't really say if it is or not but I can't even play it on my gameing pc Wich is a bummer so if I was you look more in to it like take notes from the one you can get on a PC in there store and compare it to the one sold at Best buy
