“How is this unit powered/ how does one charge it or must one change batteries”

• This model is provided with : a battery pack, usb charging cord, and a 120v wall adaptor. The cord is also used to download pictures on to your computer. My desktop is actually on my desk which is a good thing as the usb cord is short

• It charges through the micro usb connector. It comes with a cord and charger.
