Once I'd gotten my phone unlocked by my previous carrier (had owned the phone several years, so it's "locked" period was long over and had no contract), I used this trial SIM card to try out Mint Mobile. I find it perfect for my needs, and through the app paid for the 3 months. I've had it a month, really appreciate how easy it is to track my usage with the app, and definitely appreciate the savings. I had no costs other than this SIM card for $2, and the $45 for 3 months service. (Already owned the phone, so no costs there.)
