• A:Answer The kit includes two sim cards. One is for trying if Mint works in your area. You will get a new cell number for this card (for up to 7 days). If you decide to transfer to Mint after trail, you will need the second SIM. You can either port in your old number or get a new one.

• A:Answer When you register your Mint Mobile SIM card, it gives you the option to transfer an existing cellular telephone number from another carrier (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, METRO-PCS, etc). You will need to provide Mint Mobile access to your existing cellular account to prove ownership of the cellular number and existing service. Transferring you cell number to Mint Mobile will close out the existing cellular account and possibly trigger fees and penalties depending on the terms of your existing contract. It may be more advantageous to contact METRO-PCS to obtain a replacement SIM card rather than migrate over to a Mint Mobile.

• A:Answer Your phone will not have all of the bands Mint Mobile runs (ie Tmobile) to get the best signal. You will get a signal since it’s GSM but you might not get full coverage. I would recommend getting a trial kit first and see if it works in the areas you will be in the most.

• A:Answer I did not have to add a credit card before activation. One tip I'd give you though, make sure all updates on your OS and all apps are up to date - or be on wifi as much as you can. You only get 250mb of data on the trial and it goes quick if apps start updating automatically and your "7 day" trial ends up being a "7 minute" trial.

• A:Answer So I don't know exactly what your needs are, however, this simple kit comes with a trial simple card, that includes 250 minutes, 250 text, and 250mb of data. The minutes and texts are enough for you to determine within 7 days if you would like to purchase service with mint. If you do decide to activate a monthly plan, you'll then use the 2nd simple that comes with the kit, and activate that one onto your service, the reason there are two, I assume, is because one comes preloaded with the trial plan on it, you just pick your number... The plans vary, and depending on when you actually activate, they will have different offers with further discounts, whenever you do activate, it will actually give you a $5 discount, therfore in the end you paid nothing for the 7 day trial. Don't get hooked up on the 250mb of data, that's not enough for much of anything, however it will be enough so that you can verify that your phones data will work with MINT'S plan, and that the speed you'll get, is the speed it should actually be. You can buy this trial kit in Best Buy stores, with the Best Buy app, or online at www.bestbuy.com Hope this helps, and doesn't confuse you more.

• A:Answer Yes it should be. Because I had no problem. But it is who your new carrier will be. I Switched from Metro PCS i only pay my bill every 90 days the same amount as 1 month. And it's better service Mint runs on a less crowded Sprint network. GREAT FOR People on a tight budget. 2 months of no cell phone bill. I absolutely love mint mobile I bought 4 more plans for my friends. They love it saving hundreds per year.

I find it perfect for my needs, and through the app paid for the 3 months. I've had it a month, really appreciate how easy it is to track my usage with the app, and definitely appreciate the savings. I had no costs other than this SIM card for $2, and the $45 for 3 months service. (Already owned the phone, so no costs there.)
