Would probably be okay, I haven’t tried it on super big spaces but a portable outdoor screen and that was great

Please try again later.It says max screen size is 120" which is 10'. 8' by 14' is just over 16' (screen size is the diagonal length) so it would be too dim and likely would have trouble focusing. As for outside use obviously it has to be night time, but if there are to many lights in the area it probably won't look good.
