It doesn't get too hot but the exhaust is near the rear. Also it doesn't adjust in anyway so if the projector isn't head on it's very distorted.

Please try again later.I leave mine on my bedset head board which is a tall cloth headboard and I run it for hours and leave it plugged in and charged and It’s never been hot to the touch or leave any marks on my clothed headboard. All in all it is a great projector for the price and if you don’t have an additional aux cord or speaker to plug to the projector. The built in speaker on the projector is really loud and very crisp. But I recommend getting an aux cord and little sound bar so you get some sort of bass from the movie or tv show you watch. Recommend getting the fire stick or Roku for your streaming though, doesn’t have any built in apps to the projector and it is a little projector so unless you have black out curtains in your rv or something during the day it’ll be a little harder to see what’s going on.
