• You download the digital version which means you do not get the box and disc. The standard version has the physical box and CD. I never get the digital version as I like to have a library of games.

• The digital is the downloadable version. The standard is the physical copy.

• Standard is the physical copy of the game (meaning the actual disc vs. digital which is downloaded through your PlayStation from the PS store

• One downloads onto your console without the need of a disc being Inserted( digital) Standard edition is disc based which means the disc has to be in it in order to play it
