• I do not play online games. This version allows the Diamond Dynasty feature to have more of Baseball's Hall of Fame & historical players (Mickey Mantle, Tony Gwynn, Roberto Clemente, etc.) An internet connection is needed to get the game updates to have access to the updates but not to use them (I solo play against the computer with them). As a baseball fan I enjoy having access to the historical greats and having them play with today's players. I hope this helps.

• This edition comes with a metal case, and the PS5 download code. The only real difference is in game cosmetics for competitive, but there are equipment items used in offline mode.

• The only difference is that this comes with the special edition case, and it comes with in-game rewards. There is no gameplay difference it's the same game so.
