Hello Cs, thank you for reaching out to us. As long as the home you are trying to pair your device to has a 2g Wi-Fi connection; you should be able to. Also, with dual-band, you may need to sign into the solidified 2g option with the user name and passcode of the Wi-Fi you're attempting to connect to. If there is only one option in the available networks, it may not work as sometimes the device will pick up the 5g connection, prohibiting the intended operation of the device.
