“How do you know if it is charging? I plugged my phone into it and my battery indicator blinked once on my phone then nothing. I kept it plugged in for a while and it was almost like my phone battery was depleted.”

Thx e charging symbol on your phone will be on. You might need to press the on/off button. Light on batteries should be blinking when charging
