This unit does come with a 1 year manufacturer warranty. You can check with your local store, and if they are able to locate the receipt info the Geek Squad desk should be able to exchange the unit same day.

I believe they have 90 day return policy for those items but I could be mistaken.your best bet is to go into the store and talk with customer service and tell them what happened.
