The long part of the band fits through a loop and then back on itself to hold using velcro.

velcro and I love that because it makes it very easy to close and adjust

It has a buckle you loop the band through but the closure is Velcro.

It’s Velcro.the band goes thru a plastic loop or buckle then velcros back onto itself.
