• 17.3" perfect fit. enough to zip and allow no "slosh" movement when moving briskly. Hope this helps. BTW there is also room for iPad etc and other secure pouches.

• Mine is an Acer Chromebook that's 15.6 inches. It fits fine. I'm not sure how much bigger will fit though.
