“Is this product only a bumper around the edge of the watch face OR does it have protection "glass" over the watch face?”

It does not have a glass protection. It’s a rubber frame

As the pictures show, the bumper fits around and a bit under the watch. It also has openings for the crown, button, and watch band (and for charging underneath). The sides come up a bit above the watch face/screen to protect against falls. It’s a touchscreen, but it’s small, so I don’t think I’d want a screen protector. Not sure whether they make them.

It’s just a bumber around the edge it does NOT have a cover over the top! It does have a bit of a raised lip around the top.
