• It only covers the back. Purchase the glass shield to protect the front.

• I recommend the life proof cases. I prefer the nüd case and using a glass screen protector (have your carrier's store install it!!) but the fré has a built in screen protector.

• The case I have is for an iPhone 5. You can buy a screen protector. They have different types from lightweight to tempered glass that can keep the screen from getting scratched or even cracking.
