- Answer No, it will not fit the mini2. I have both an iPad mini 2 and 4 and purchased this because it would not fit my mini 2 cover. The 4 is slightly slimmer and a fraction bigger in diameter. Location of microphone is in a different location (on the side where the volume buttons are vs on top for the mini2).
