Well....the only "external" antenna we make is the Sky 60 and it comes with an amplifier already. All our other antennas (Leaf and Curve models) are designed for indoor use only. However an amplifier may help with reception but basements are notoriously difficult locations to use an indoor antenna. Since you are generally so close to the ground there is not a great line of sight to the towers. Many customers that want to use an antenna in a basement will invest in a roof mounted antenna and either run coax to the basement or use the home's existing coaxial network to send signals to the TV. You can always reach out to Mohu to see if they can do a channel scan for you to make sure that reception is even possible at your location.
