Q: QuestionI've ordered a 4 way splitter from you'll & terminators. I hope to use 3 ports & cap the other with terminator. Right now the 60 does ok on some & others not that stable. The splitter I'm using now is not ampljfied but using the amp that comes with the 60
Asked by Tbone.
- A:Answer Remember that the signals are weakened by 1/2 with each TV that is added so the first couple TV's may get better reception than the latter ones. In some cases adding an amplifier to each TV helps with reception.

Q: QuestionI have a Samsung HD TV. I use a Mohu Leaf external antenna placed in north facing windows in a basement. The TV signal is still inconsistent with stations less than 50 miles away. Would this work to boost the signal and boost overall performance?
Asked by JBlack.
- A:Answer Well....the only "external" antenna we make is the Sky 60 and it comes with an amplifier already. All our other antennas (Leaf and Curve models) are designed for indoor use only. However an amplifier may help with reception but basements are notoriously difficult locations to use an indoor antenna. Since you are generally so close to the ground there is not a great line of sight to the towers. Many customers that want to use an antenna in a basement will invest in a roof mounted antenna and either run coax to the basement or use the home's existing coaxial network to send signals to the TV. You can always reach out to Mohu to see if they can do a channel scan for you to make sure that reception is even possible at your location.

Q: QuestionTwo of these in series for 2x amplification?
Asked by Tbone.
- A:Answer Unfortunately it doesn't work that way. Our amplifier has a 15dB gain. You can purchase a different amp that has greater amplification to potentially boost your signal.

Q: QuestionWill the Mohu jolt amplifier help with pixalation because of living in an apartment?
Asked by Chick.
- A:Answer It may but many things can impede reception that adding an amp will not "fix". You can certainly test adding the amplifier to your antenna but you can also reach out to Mohu for technical support to make sure that something else isn't negatively impacting reception. .

Q: QuestionI have 4 TV's, all hooked to an Outdoor, Roof Mounted, Antenna. They are wired through a whole house system at a box outside. Will this unit help to reduce pixilating. What power is needed. Can I hook 1 to each TV.
Asked by Gvan2.
- A:Answer It may. It totally depends on your location. If you are in a good area for reception, ie. no terrain issues, adding one jolt to the back of each TV may help. You would need to test it to be sure.
