My configuration included running the antenna into the house cable wiring - cable provider has been fired. It worked fine in several rooms. My issue is that I couldn't receive some particular stations I got with my rabbit ear configuration. However, I did get about 20 stations from LA and Mexico that I didn't know existed. The antenna works well is some situations.

A digital converter box connects to your existing TV and allows it to receive free over-the-air digital TV signals. A digital converter box is a one-time purchase with no monthly fees. One converter box is necessary for every TV that doesn't have a built-in digital tuner and that receives its signal over the air with an antenna. They can be purchased at most retail electronics stores and online. Typical cost is $30 and up.
