“We have no cable on our Cottage,so we only can watch movies. Would an antenna give us any reception to local channels”

Possibly, if you are not to far from a city that broadcasts signals able to be picked up buy the antenna. I have the $50.00 antenna but it works very well at 40 miles north of Pittsburgh,pa. Get the better long distance antenna for like $79.00. If it doesn't work you have 15 days to take back to BEST BUY. Very, very easy to set up. I get a great picture with it. Rick

Definitely. Best thing to do is to just borrow an antenna from someone and try it to see how many channels and type of shows you would get. One unexpected benefit is some TV shows broadcast earlier on antenna than on cable and then repeat on antenna at the usual time
