• It all depends on the location of the towers in your exact location. Typically brick doesn't negatively affect signals too much. You can do a google search that says "what OTA channels can I get" and locate a site that will allow you to do a channel scan with your exact address to see what channels you should be able to get.

• It may or may not work well. The antenna works fine. The problem is whatever is getting in the way of your signal source and the antenna. If the distance is not too far, you shouldn't have a problem. Your chances will be better if you can run an extension cable and put the antenna near a window.

• Mine is located in a basement. Sometimes it seems that the signal is reflecting back from the opposite wall in which it is located. I have mine located in front of a small window 8x18.

• You may have to move it around a bit to get a signal but with Best Buy's return policy it is worth a try.
