If you do not have any windows in the room. the next best place is an outside wall. Place the antenna high on the wall. Do not place near metal structures within the house. This antenna comes with tabs and pins to secure it to any surface.

However, it may be more challenging pulling in all your available channels if you are using the antenna in, say, a basement or a ground level apartment.
