You should be able to Google your ZIP Code and look up your local listings to at least get an idea of what is available. Of course what you actually will get will depend on how far you are out of the city, whether there’s interference, etc. The only way to truly know is to just buy it and see what channels pick up. Best Buy has a pretty good return policy and if it doesn’t do what you need you can return it. But I’ve not had a problem getting our local networks and several others but I’m in the middle of the city
