• An antenna and if you want cable channels try internet based “cable” such as Hulu, Sling Tv, Youtube live or Direct Tv now which I use.

• Well this is a vast question. If you have an antenna that's a great start. You can do a google search about "how do I cut the cord" to locate many, many great sites with tons of info!

• You would need a pair of scissors and a coaxial crimper as well as coaxial connectors to replace the one's you cut off, if you intend to shorten the cable. Use of the product is solely at the purchaser's discretion.
