I set it up for my daughter in Carrollton TX as she had moved there and it works super well just in the shelf next to her TV indoors! I guess you could extend the cable but you may not need to do that. It came with an electronic booster - just plug the booster into the cable before it goes into the TV and it is USB powered- hopefully your TV has a USP port at the back otherwise you will have to get a USB power plug- the antenna I got did not have one & they said they would ship it for free if you need it. It can also be pinned to a wall next to the TV. Just connect the cables and enjoy!
