Hi Gray, we recommend replacing the PECO-Filter every 6-months and Pre-Filter every 3-months. However, you can activate your Filter Auto-Refill subscription to receive replacements every 6-months for peace of mind. We don't recommend vacuuming the filters since our technology works differently from the standard mechanical filtration in most air purifiers.
