On the brass burner with the small inner burner and larger outer burner, can the small inner burner burner be used without the larger outer burner? I am looking for a range that will accommodate very small cookware. My coffee pot is only 4 inches in dia null

Yes it can be used without larger outer burner.
Turn knob on CCW to the medium setting , then push in on the knob and continue to rotate CCW to the low to sim setting..  only the center burner lights..  I tested the outer with my finger as per OSHA …

I had the same concerns and contacted Monogram. I asked if I could use the middle grate section of our 30" model to put over 2 burners for small items and they said yes, as it's made from the same materials as the burner grates and grate holders.
