You have to buy parts only if the set is out of warranty as far as I know.

I did not want to buy separate warranty’s for all this stuff and I just pay once a year for everything. But with an extended warranty m, your stuff will be fixed but if they can not fix it, you will be refunded and can buy another set in the store for a little more or equal value.

Do you have the totaltec? If so, best buy will send a geek squad agent to your house to fix burn in. I believe the warranty should cover it as well.
