• No don't use this in the rain or get it wet or you'll have a case you have to take off every time you need to charge it

• No this case is not water proof I had spilled some water on my phone and right away it started having wireless charging issues ... on the wireless charger it would light up green as if its fully charged when it was dying and or low battery I could never get it to go blue meaning charging again so... I ended up buying a new one and just returning the other one
